Oh Em Ef Gee...*nervous*

Journal Entry: Sat May 10, 2008, 6:54 PM
We're performing our play this Monday. I'm so nervous. I'm an important character with a lot of stage presence (like, my gestures are huge and I'm very, uh...noticeable). I sing this one song and I have a very high note to hit...normally I can hit it, but only if I get my voice really loud.

Anyways, last practice, I didn't hit that note. It immediately made me feel sheepish. On top of that, I, uh...I perspire a lot, and my costume is rather tight-fitting around the arms...so obviously I'm nervous. (Nervous of both failing and getting seriously humiliated).

Fortunately, my crush isn't going to be watching (he's on vacation), so if I screw up he hopefully won't know.

Any suggestions on how to make myself a little more confident? The problem isn't stage fright--it's simply the fear of looking bad. I need help!!!

I've been busy all week. My club where I figure skate is having a huge Ice show and practices have been extremely frequent, and on top of that, my school is nearing the performance of our play. It's been hectic but I should be back on a more regular basis within the first week of May.
